Since K. Rupert Murdoch bought out the Wall Street Journal, it would seem that the publication, once the gold standard for information on finances and other subjects, much like his 24/7 editorial network known as Fox News, has hit an all time low and has become nothing more than the tabloid Murdoch uses in all of his media outlets. Fox News has not broken a single story in its history, but has repeatedly done a lot of Big Lie spins of the news to its following of under-educated, but highly opinionated viewers.
Recently, one “Dr. Paul McHugh did a hoax of an op-ed article in the June 12th, 2014 edition of the Wall Street journal that is nothing more than a fabrication and distortion of facts from a highly biased research done in 1977 by one of his Johns Hopkins colleagues, one Dr. John Meyer. This 1977 research has now been shown to be totally false in its assertions and runs contrary to later, peer reviewed and irrefutable researches into both neurology and genetics concerning transsexualism.
Despite advances in the surgical field of transitional medicine, plus a lot of neurological studies, well peer reviewed and now internationally accepted and supported by U.S. organizations like the American Medical Association and the American Psychological Association, along with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, that not only debunk the psychological etiology of transsexualism, but encourage both private and public sector medical plan coverage for these procedures, which are in no way experimental nor elective where indicated. Dr. McHugh is still making assertions that are now demonstrably false and potentially fatal to those suffering from properly diagnosed transsexualism. In short, Dr. McHugh is not up to date, is demonstrably biased in his assertions to the point of deliberate negligence and outright incompetence.
In other words, he [Dr. McHugh] has about the same validity as those tacky little tabloids one encounters at the check out counter of ones local supermarkets.
